How We Do It

My name is Travis Meckel and I run the Meckel Family Beef Company.

We provide our customers with a better way to put premium beef on their tables. Much of the beef you find in grocery store chains is imported, of unspecified heritage, comes from older cows, is not as dry aged and sits frozen much longer. All of this at a price that keeps going up. We offer a better way of getting the best steaks you will ever taste, delivering whole beef, sides and half sides of beef, fully packaged and ready to cook, from our ranch to you.

Our secret is simple, low volume, and my personal attention to ensuring the quality of every steak we sell. I select and know each calf from birth, take them for finishing in feed lots, oversee processing and butchering in FDA approved facilities, dry age our beef, and we deliver our steaks to your home. When you buy steaks from us, I know the provenance and have ensured you are getting beef of the very highest quality.
